Join Kingston Economic Development and the Royal Kingston United Services Institute (RKUSI) for the 2nd Annual Defence + Security Forum: RACE to Readiness – Revitalization of the Canadian Armed Forces on October 30 at the Fort Frontenac Officers’ Mess.
The forum will bring together senior military, government and industry leaders to examine the priorities shaping the future readiness of the Canadian Armed Forces, including modernization, defence procurement, personnel and mobilization, as well as the infrastructure, training, recruitment and retention required to support a larger, more capable force.
The program will feature an opening keynote from Gen (Retd) Tom Lawson, Chair of the Conference of Defence Associations Institute, panel discussions featuring LGen Mike Wright, Commander of the Canadian Army; LGen Jamie Speiser-Blanchet, Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force; and LGen Erick Simoneau, Chief of Military Personnel, and a closing keynote from Gen (Retd) Walt Natynchyk, former Chief of the Defence Staff. Attendees will gain insight into Canada’s evolving defence priorities while connecting with leaders and decision-makers from across the defence and security sector.
