Rise Workshop for WE-CAN Community of Women Entrepreneurs

June 8, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Are mental health challenges or addictions causing you (or someone you know) to struggle with the launch or growth of your business? If so, Rise may be the right solution.

Rise is the only national organization dedicated to empowering people with mental health and addiction challenges to achieve financial independence, along with greater social and economic inclusion through self-employment or business ownership.

Through training, mentorship, micro-financing and other customs supports, Rise helps individuals build the skills and access the capital they need to launch a small business that can improve quality of life and enable them to support themselves, their families and communities.

Since 2010, Rise has financed, trained, and mentored more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and disbursed more than $3 million via 750+ low-interest loans. Today, Rise operates in nine locations across Canada, including Kingston, Ontario.

Join Kingston-based Sara Miller of Rise for this 1-hour virtual session to learn more, including:

• What Rise is all about

• Who is eligible for Rise supports and services
