Train Labs invites graduate students, medical residents, health professionals, engineers, scientists, and local innovators to apply for a two-day, in-person Biodesign Healthcare Hackathon + Workshop at Providence Care Hospital.
Step out of the Vault and into the Wasteland. Healthcare needs rebuilding – and we need people with the skills, curiosity, and courage to help do it. Whether you bring clinical experience, engineering expertise, scientific insight, design thinking, coding skills, or lived experience with healthcare challenges, this hackathon will give you the opportunity to work across disciplines on real-world problems facing patients, clinicians, and health systems.
Guided by experienced clinicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, and mentors from Mayo Clinic and Stanford University, participants will learn and apply the Stanford Biodesign process – a needs-first approach to identifying unmet clinical needs and developing solutions with a path to real-world implementation.
Through this hands-on experience, participants will:
