Kingston Startup Ecosystem event cover
Join Kingston’s vibrant startup community for a morning of networking, collaboration, and inspiring conversations.

Join us for this Kingston Startup Ecosystem session exploring how founders think about building, growing, and scaling startups, and the factors that influence key decisions along the way.

Startup growth is rarely linear. Founders are constantly making judgment calls—about timing, strategy, resources, funding, and how to position their company in an evolving market. This session takes a closer look at those decision-making processes and the signals that shape them.

Through an open, guided conversation with experienced voices from the startup and innovation ecosystem, we’ll explore real-world perspectives on what it takes to move a company forward, particularly for entrepreneurs building outside major startup hubs.

Whether you’re just starting out, validating an idea, or actively growing a venture, this session is intended to help you better understand how experienced founders think, and how you can navigate your next stage with more confidence and intention.

The conversation will explore:

· How founders approach key decisions at different stages of a startup
· The signals and indicators that shape outside perception of a company’s progress and potential
· How strategy, timing, and constraints influence growth paths
· Ways founders build relationships, credibility, and visibility over time
· How storytelling and communication shape how a venture is understood by others
