Kingston’s First 40 Under 40 Awards Reception

The Kingston’s 40 Under 40 Awards Reception will showcase the incredible talent, dedication, and innovation that our city’s young leaders bring to various fields. From business and technology to arts, culture, and social services, these honorees represent the diverse and vibrant landscape of Kingston.

DRESS CODE: The dress code for the evening is cocktail/black-tie/formal attire. Dress to impress and please do feel free to go all out as we celebrate excellence and achievement in style.

About Kingston’s 40 Under 40 Awards:

Kingston’s 40 Under 40 celebrates the exceptional achievements and contributions of individuals under the age of 40 who are making a significant impact in their profession and the greater Kingston community. This initiative aims to recognize and honour talented, innovative and inspiring young leaders who are shaping the future of Kingston.

In a city known for its rich history, thriving arts scene and vibrant community, Kingston’s 40 Under 40 serves as a platform to showcase the incredible talent and diverse accomplishments of our young professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and change-makers. These individuals represent a wide range of fields, including sustainable manufacturing, health innovation, business, technology, education, arts and culture, social services and more.

Kingston’s 40 Under 40 highlights the exceptional achievements of these young leaders who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, passion and vision in their respective fields. They have not only excelled in their careers but have also make contributions to the betterment of our community through philanthropy and volunteerisms.

Silent auction for Sustainable Kingston:

Sustainable Kingston is in the second phase of our Electric Vehicle campaign. The vehicle to be purchased, a 2018 Nissan Leaf, will be used by our Residential Energy Advisors to conduct over 200 home energy evaluations a year and will be on the road for 4-5 days a week throughout Kingston and surrounding areas. By purchasing of this electric vehicle, Sustainable Kingston will reduce our own GHG emissions by close to 50%.

Donors to the Kingston Community Climate Action Fund, with support from the Kingston Community Credit Union and sponsors, have already helped raise $19,000 toward the vehicle purchase. In phase 2 of our campaign, we aim to raise another $14,000 to purchase the vehicle and begin reducing our carbon footprint. To do so, we need your help!
