Kingston, Ontario – July 9, 2026 – Kingston Economic Development is pleased to announce nominations for the annual Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Awards are now open.
Now in its fourth year, the annual awards recognize 40 exceptional individuals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to Kingston’s business, non-profit, public, and community sectors through professional achievement, leadership, innovation, and community involvement.
“Each year, the 40 Under 40 Awards remind us that Kingston’s future is being shaped by an extraordinary group of young professionals,” said Cathy Campbell-Wilson, Board Chair of Kingston Economic Development. “These awards celebrate individuals who are leading businesses, driving innovation, strengthening our community, and making a meaningful impact across every sector. I invite our community to celebrate these leaders and continue supporting the work they do to move Kingston forward.”
Since launching in 2023, the Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Awards have recognized 120 emerging leaders whose work is shaping Kingston’s future and strengthening its reputation as a city where young talent thrives.
