NEO Clinic Expands Access to Neurological Care in Eastern Ontario

The new Kingston location will enhance access to neurological care, rehabilitation, and clinical research for patients across the region.

Kingston, Ontario – June 18, 2026 – The Neurocentre of Eastern Ontario (NEO Clinic) marked the opening of its new 4,000-square-foot facility at 673 Innovation Drive, Unit 6, in Kingston with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony today. Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson and Kingston and the Islands MPP Ted Hsu joined NEO Clinic staff, healthcare partners, patients, and community members to celebrate the milestone.

The new facility represents a significant expansion from NEO Clinic’s original 300- to 400-square-foot space. Featuring ten examination rooms and an expanded clinical team, the location was designed to meet growing demand for neurological services throughout Kingston and the surrounding region. As part of the expansion, NEO Clinic is expanding its Comprehensive Headache Program to provide faster access to specialized assessment and treatment and also introducing Neuro Physiotherapy services focused on neurological rehabilitation for Parkinson’s disease, Stroke, mobility and balance disorders.

“Access to timely neurological care remains a significant challenge for many patients,” said Dr. Ramana Appireddy, Neurologist and Medical Director, NEO Clinic. “This expansion allows us to improve access to specialized care for people living with headaches, migraines, and other neurological conditions, while providing a modern environment that supports better patient experiences and outcomes. As demand for neurological services continues to grow, our goal is to ensure patients can access the care they need closer to home and as quickly as possible.”

“We’re excited about this collaboration,” said Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick, Chief of Staff & Executive Vice President Medical and Academic Affairs, KHSC Kingston Health Sciences Centre. “KHSC functions as a hospital without walls and we’re delighted to work with community specialists to extend capacity and provide better access to care for patients”.

In addition to clinical care, NEO Clinic is expanding its involvement in clinical research through a partnership with the Limestone Clinical Trials Unit, giving patients the opportunity to participate in trials evaluating new therapies for neurological conditions.

“NEO Clinic represents the kind of healthcare innovation that has the potential to transform patient access to care,” said Ben McIlquham, Investment Manager, Life Sciences and Health Innovation, Kingston Economic Development Corporation. “By delivering specialized neurological services in a community setting and helping reduce wait times for patients across Eastern Ontario, Dr. Appireddy and his team are addressing an important healthcare need in our region. We congratulate the entire team on the opening of their new facility and look forward to their continued impact on patients and families across Eastern Ontario.”
