The third annual event celebrates the accomplishments of 40 Kingston Young Professionals
Kingston, Ontario – September 3, 2025 – Kingston Economic Development Corporation, together with award sponsor Rockwell Commercial, is pleased to announce the outstanding recipients of the third annual Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Awards. The awards celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievements, community involvement, and leadership in their fields. This year’s recipients demonstrate the remarkable depth and diversity of young professional talent that calls Kingston home.
“It’s always inspiring to see the energy and passion that shines through in Kingston’s Top 40 Under 40 nominees,” said Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson. “These young leaders reflect the innovative, collaborative spirit that defines our city. Their achievements not only drive progress but also speak to the supportive culture we’ve built here – one that celebrates ambition, creativity, and community. I’m excited to see how they will inspire even more emerging talent across Kingston.”
The nomination process is open to the public, allowing community members to nominate deserving individuals. An external adjudication committee comprised of previous 40 Under 40 recipients evaluates nominations and selects recipients based on the award’s criteria.
“This year we saw a record-breaking response, with more than 100 young professionals nominated, the largest number since the program began,” said Donna Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer of Kingston Economic Development Corporation. “The calibre of nominees reflects a growing pool of talent shaping Kingston’s future through their leadership, skills, and dedication. This third annual edition highlights the impactful work of young professionals in Kingston, a place where exceptional young leaders build meaningful careers.”
The awards will be presented to recipients on September 17, 2025.
